Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are multipotent adult stem cells with a great capacity for self-renewal while maintaining their multi-potency. They can develop into specialized cells of the body such as chondrocytes, osteoblasts and adipocytes. MSCs can also differentiate into nerve cells, heart muscle cells, liver cells and endothelial cells. Their easy accessibility, exceptional genomic stability, and their capacity for tissue repair with few immunological and ethical issues make them the favorable cell type for experimental and clinical use. rBMSC-yf from JangoCell are mesenchymal stem cells isolated from female adult Sprague Dawley rat bone marrow. rBMSC-yf are cultured, cryopreserved at passage two and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >1 x 106 cells in 1 ml volume. rBMSC-yf are characterized by flow cytometry with antibodies to CD90 and CD45. rBMSC-yf are negative for mycoplasma, yeast, fungi and bacteria. rBMSC-yf are assured to further culture using the protocol provided by JangoCell.
